This really made me smile! Manabu posted some pictures of his lovely wife Keiko wearing The Essential Cap in Japan on his blog. I love how she effortlessly makes it look so cool and feminine. Thank you for the support you two!

coming soon.
Man- this is what I am talking about when I say “connecting with people through my creative offerings”. My boy Marco (aka Max) lives in Richmond, Virginia, and in all honesty I met him via Twitter. Long story short, we simply shared a lot of the same interest. When I first announced (12.10) that I was going to be introducing my own products, he was one of the first people to support me (through spreading the word, etc.). Though my first addition of “The Essential Cap” didn’t quite workout for him (for obvious reasons lol) he still continued to support me. When I first posted the “sneak peak” of my buttons (coming soon), again he was one of the first people to show support. So I sent him one of the first button packs to show my appreciation and look what he did in return (above). Much love to you brother.
I promise I don’t take any of this for granted- thank you everyone for the support.

Petes Cafe & Bar ; American; Downtown Los Angeles
…With Teron Stevenson follow: @BleuCollar
Teron Stevenson, a Los Angeleno with flair for style and music, member of the well known L.A. Hip Hop group Bleu Collar, introduces us to Petes Cafe in Downtown Los Angeles . Having mutual friends we have crossed paths plenty of times over the years at local happenings. Recently mentioning StomachLife to him we realized that we have the same enthusiasm for food and began to list different eateries in our areas. When he mentioned that Pete’s Cafe had blue cheese fries I did not hesitate to set up meeting for lunch! StomachLIfe chats with Teron about his current and upcoming projects over a great Meal. As executive producer to ForecastTV and his collaborative involvement with Blackscale there is plenty to look forward to. StomachLIfe gives Teron a special Happy Birthday shout out see you for dinner soon! -MJ
MJ: Why Pete’s Cafe
TS: I’ve been coming to Petes for years it’s a cool spot with great food and it stays open late, always a plus. AND their Bleu Cheese fries!!! You can’t come to Pete’s and not get at least one order of them. My man Jamie put me up on them. I’ve never really seen them on any other menu. I love lamb and gamey meats so I decided to give their sandwich a whirl, you have to also try the Lamb Bolegnese Pasta too, definitely my favorite.
MJ: How important of role does food play in your everyday life?
TS: Looking at this gorgeous belly of mine it obviously plays a very important
role. I honestly love exploring new flavors and different methods of
cooking.“Food is communal it brings people together and puts smiles on their faces. I’m with that.”
I love cooking and I love tasting someones interpretation of a recipe. Food is our fuel and I’m not filling my tank with 87..No fast food… I’ll spend a good dollar on a meal because it’s important to eat well.
MJ: Let us know what projects your working on, ForcastTv and its future plans and whats your relationship w/BlvckScvle and its fast growing movement?
I’m head of international sales for the apparel brand, BlvckScvle (Black Scale) , I also handle creative direction and a few other things but we’re a small team so we all chip in where it counts. With Black Scale we are trying to continue to grow the brand even further than we have and do it correctly. We just opened our third store in L.A. 128 La Brea come see us!
In addition I’m executive producer of www.theforecasttv.com which is a video content site that profiles indie designers and boutiques across the globe. I have some elaborate plans for it but in the mean time we are about to start shooting more episodes and look forward to being the go to site when you’re looking for new brands and boutiques. Although some of you may already know about the brands we profile we hope to give you more insight to the people behind them and the daily process.
Stay Tunned….
